今天早上起来(应该是中午才对),My roommate said: You know the clock changes?
Waterstone's. The College Newspaper boasts that if you cannot find the title you are looking for, you gotta check out whether it is printed at all.

V&A Some Others
When can your outfit be displayed in V&A?
Victoria and Albert Museum is another gigantic museum on Cromwell Road. Furniture, fine crockery and everything about interior design are displayed there. I did glance through the British part last Friday and was marvelled at the collections they have. The exhibition is divided according to time. Rococo, Baroque styles are discerned and introduced in full details. Some of the pieces are really interesting such as the great bed of Wares, which was ancient and well-decorated, appeared in Shakespeare's lyric lines.
There is also bright-colored tiny oval-shaped drawings, on which special red pigment was used to mimic the luster of ruby on queen's crown. This did remind me of what I have seen in the Natural History Museum, a box containing hundreds of precious stone studded rings preserved by a single bishop in church! =)
Dated old music instrument exhibition is also interesting. Pity that people do need some professional knowledge to actually gain an appreciation of them. I've seen various kinds of pianos of weird shape and size.
The most fascinating section may be the fashion display. 1970s to 80s London, Paris, NYC and Tokyo top designers' classical pieces. One of the Japanese stripe dress with slid-open belt around waist is fancifully sexy.
Recently I had sore feet for walking a bit too much, but I do enjoy the big windows in my room where the not-so-bright afternoon light come in with a stroke of autumn green. =D

Repo.

Out-datedly Blur
Maybe I am numb with environment and food. When I stepped in the Waitrose supermarket on the path to the college, I was more than glad to see a whole store of food. They have Sushi, particularly nice bread baking and Italian food dressing. So I was very satisfied. =)
Serpentine Gallery.
A small fancy house at the Kensington Garden, admission free! Matthew Barney: Drawing Restraint. The frame is also part of the drawing piece and the key point is material. He did decorate layers of petroleum oil, plastic and polymers (mainly transparent) onto ingenious place of drawings. The sculpture is really using plastic and pigment as well as dead insects to mimic platform of wretched ship under the sea. Oh of course not as tremendous as the Titanic. It was just occupying most space of a room and visitors have to squeeze in and explore the different part of the "wreck"!
Serpentine Gallery Pavilion.
The architecture is a big magician's hat! What you can do with it besides appreciating its shape are sitting inside sipping hot coffee or revolving around it to visit the tip of the hat and peering inside from the "hole". By the way, there is also no roof for this strange building and I do worry about the raining day well being of it. =)

Bought Ticket for Mozart Four Seasons Orchestra Concert when I visited Royal Albert Hall just behind my school. Full 18th century costume, I'm looking forward to it!
Special thanks to Sonny and his two friends for guiding me to the Buckingham Palace, Thames River and London Eye. Sure I will take photos next time and they shouldn't be missed out in my post in the future. =]
